The Township of Terrace Bay is committed to assisting entrepreneurs to succeed and grow their businesses. This resource was compiled to help facilitate the dissemination of information to entrepreneurs seeking out capital investment for their business ventures.

Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC)

Superior North CFDC is a community-based, non-profit organization that is funded by the Federal Government of Canada to encourage and assist entrepreneurs with their pursuit of economic opportunities. Staffed by professionals and run by a board of local volunteers, they provide crucial support/training for potential business owners looking to start their businesses, as well as to existing businesses looking to improve. Superior North also provides access to capital financing for businesses.

Northern Ontario Angels (NOA)

The Northern Ontario Angels is Northern Ontario’s premiere organization for entrepreneurs (looking for growth capital) and angel investors (looking for investments). The organization connects businesses with “angel investors” seeking to invest capital in new and growing businesses.

Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC)

The NOHFC is a crown corporation and development agency for the Province of Ontario. NOHFC invests in northern businesses through conditional contributions, forgivable performance loans, incentive term loans and loan guarantees.
