Welcome to the 75th Anniversary Celebrations!  This event endeavors to instill a sense of pride in commemorating moments past and present while celebrating our bright future as a community.


75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt
Take a memorable tour through our community by participating in the 75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt!  Teams that complete the hunt will have their name entered into a draw for prizes at the August 20 – Beach Party Day at 8:00pm.  Download Scavenger List  or pick up a paper copy at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office.  75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt List

75th Historical Display & Walking Tour
Take a tour through the last 25 years!  A 75th Historical Display is located at the Terrace Bay Community Centre – Curling Club!   Display will be open during Terrace Bay Community Centre Hours –Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.

A 75th Historical Walking Tour Brochure will be available for everyone to take a tour through our community!  AVAILABLE AT SOUVENIR TENT OR TERRACE BAY COMMUNITY CENTRE OFFICE.

The Terrace Bay Public Library will be OPEN for visitors to vist/tour the Library on Thursday, August 18 & Friday, August 19 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – 10:00am to Noon
The Superior Seniors Club will be hosting a daily morning Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – $3 person at the Michael King Hall starting Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.  Great time to socialize and meet up with friends!

8:00am – Wellness Lab –  a fun & low impact indoor cycling workout to kick-start your day.  sign up required – call or text 807-620-2209

TAI CHI in the Park with Instructor Wendy Morriseau!
Noon to 1:00pm – Centennial Park (by Cenotaph) –  join  Certified Instructor for this gentle hour long practice of meditative poses & stretches. FREE event

BEACH YOGA with RYT Jillian Veneziano
Noon to 1:00pm – Terrace Bay Waterfront Pavilion – FREE event
Come join us for this hour long feel good yoga practice that will help you relax & release physical tension out of the body all while enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Superior. All levels are welcome — please bring your own mat, limited mats will be available on a first come basis.

While you are uptown for the Lighthouse Festival stop in at WELLNESS LAB to attend this fun ZUMBA dance party! DJ, NDLESS will be on site playing tracks to keep the energy going.  Donation Admission. Proceeds will be given to a local group.

Join us for the official 75th Opening Ceremony with Mayor & Council and the 75th Committee.  The opening of the 50th Anniversary Time Capsule will be on display.

3:00pm – Terrace Bay Cenotaph
Please join us for the Terrace Bay MEMORIAL PLAQUE UNVEILING on Friday, August 19 at 3:00pm – Terrace Bay Cenotaph. The new memorial plaque is a permanent dedication to Terrace Bay residents who have served in the Canadian Military in the protection of the rights and freedoms of our country.
