Welcome to the 75th Anniversary Celebrations!  This event endeavors to instill a sense of pride in commemorating moments past and present while celebrating our bright future as a community.

DAILY EVENTS:

75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt
Take a memorable tour through our community by participating in the 75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt!  Teams that complete the hunt will have their name entered into a draw for prizes at the August 20 – Beach Party Day at 8:00pm.  Download Scavenger List  or pick up a paper copy at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office.  75th Selfie Scavenger Hunt List

75th Historical Display & Walking Tour
Take a tour through the last 25 years!  A 75th Historical Display is located at the Terrace Bay Community Centre – Curling Club!   Display will be open during Terrace Bay Community Centre Hours – Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.

A 75th Historical Walking Tour Brochure will be available for everyone to take a tour through our community!  AVAILABLE AT SOUVENIR TENT OR TERRACE BAY COMMUNITY CENTRE OFFICE.

Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – 10:00am to Noon
The Superior Seniors Club will be hosting a daily morning Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – $3 person at the Michael King Hall starting Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.  Great time to socialize and meet up with friends!

Superior Seniors “Brunch with the Boys” – 11:00am to 1:00pm
The Superior Seniors Club will be hosting their famous and yummy “Brunch with the Boys” at the Michael King Hall.  $6 person.

Spaghetti Supper – St. Martin Church Hall
4: 00 pm to 4:45 pm for Take-out
6:30 pm to 8 pm for Dine-in (1 sitting only)  Doors open @ 6 pm
$20 per person including dessert. Only 50 Take-out and 100 Dine-in available.

*Advance ticket purchase only. Cash or cheque (payable to St. Martin Catholic Women’s League).  *We are unable to receive e-transfers.
*We encourage out-of-town guests to contact someone local to purchase your tickets.

SELF CARE EVENTS

BEACH YOGA with RYT Jillian Veneziano
11:00am to noon – Terrace Bay Waterfront Pavilion – FREE event
Come join us for this hour long feel good yoga practice that will help you relax & release physical tension out of the body all while enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Superior. All levels are welcome — please bring your own mat, limited mats will be available on a first come basis.

TAI CHI in the Park with Instructor Wendy Morriseau!
Noon to 1:00pm – Centennial Park (by Cenotaph) –  join Certified Instructor Wendy for this gentle hour long practice of meditative poses & stretches. FREE event

75th Anniversary AGC Men’s Open
Saturday, August 20 & Sunday, August 21
$100 Entry Fee – 36 holes of golf, meal voucher, novelties, skins, random draw prizes
Flights based on handicap and prizes based on amount of players.  Saturday tee times and pairings based on request

75th BEACH PARTY
1:00pm to 2:00am at the Terrace Bay Beach

Join us in celebrating our 75th Celebrations with a fun day of events at the Terrace Bay Waterfront showcasing our new pavilion and boardwalk!   Live Band Back Forty & DJ Dbl D with an Open Mic Event!  Food Vendors & Beer Gardens!  Beach Games! Childrens Inflatables & Zorb Balls!  Artisan Market!  Hike to Danny’s Cove! Boat Tours! Bonfires on the beach! Plus a 75th Fireworks Display at dark!  There will also be a FREE Bus Shuttle!

GUIDED HIKE –Terrace Bay Beach to Danny’s Cove
Meet at 1:00pm at the TB Beach
Open to the public, dogs are welcome must be leashed!  Easy to moderate hike – 3km round trip. Proper footwear should be worn and closed toed shoes are recommended. Bring enough water for the hike and dress appropriately for the weather.

Paddle Boarding with Natri Bros
1:00pm to 3:00pm
Join us at the Boat Docks and try out the SUP’s!

Kayaks with SAND

2:00pm – try out the kayaks at the boat docks!

Boat Tours with Evan’s Fishing Edge
2:00pm to 8:00pm
Join us at the Boat Docks for Boat Tours with Evan’s Fishing Edge!  Sign up at the docks for rides!  Limited space available!

BEACH BUS SHUTTLE – 1:00PM TO 2:00AM
The 75th Bus will pick up at the TB Community Centre starting at 1:00pm, with rides down to the beach and return to the TB Community Centre every 20 to 30 minutes.  Please use this service and park uptown!!

BEACH PARKING AVAILABLE
Parking Attendants will be on site to assist and direct you to parking spaces!  DO NOT PARK UNLESS ASSIGNED!

Limited parking available on east end of Beach and Golf Course Parking Lot only!

There will be NO PARKING on designated areas of the the BEACH ROAD.  Beach Road Parking will be assigned by the Parking Attendants on the east side of the road (hole #9).  DO NOT PARK ON ROAD UNLESS YOU ARE ASSIGNED, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE!

DROP OFF POINT – Residents can drop off family at the Terrace Bay Pavilion
