Welcome to the 75th Anniversary Celebrations! This event endeavors to instill a sense of pride in commemorating moments past and present while celebrating our bright future as a community.
DAILY EVENTS:
75th Historical Display & Walking Tour
Take a tour through the last 25 years! A 75th Historical Display is located at the Terrace Bay Community Centre – Curling Club! Display will be open during Terrace Bay Community Centre Hours –Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.
A 75th Historical Walking Tour Brochure will be available for everyone to take a tour through our community!
Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – 10:00am to Noon
The Superior Seniors Club will be hosting a daily morning Coffee & Muffin Drop-In – $3 person at the Michael King Hall starting Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21. Great time to socialize and meet up with friends!
SELF CARE EVENTS
TAI CHI in the Park with Instructor Wendy Morriseau!
Noon to 1:00pm – Centennial Park (by Cenotaph) – join Certified Instructor Wendy for this gentle hour long practice of meditative poses & stretches. FREE event
Lighthouse Yoga with RYT Jill Veneziano
Noon to 1:00pm – Terrace Bay Lighthouse Green Space – FREE event
Join us for “Happy Hour” on the green space of one of Terrace Bay’s main attractions for an energizing afternoon yoga practice with music by NDLESS. Open to all levels – bring your own mat (limited mats available)
Slow Sunset Yoga with RYT Jill Veneziano
8:00pm – Wellness Lab. Join RYT Jill for this slow paced yoga class that will help you release physical tension out of the body. sign up required – call or text 807-620-2209
75th Anniversary AGC Men’s Open
Saturday, August 20 & Sunday, August 21
$100 Entry Fee – 36 holes of golf, meal voucher, novelties, skins, random draw prizes
Flights based on handicap and prizes based on amount of players. Saturday tee times and pairings based on request

TERRACE BAY WATERFRONT FAREWELL DAY

Join us for an outdoor Church Service at the Terrace Bay Waterfront Pavilion.
75th CLOSING CEREMONY & GRAND OPENING OF THE TERRACE BAY WATERFRONT & PAVILION – Noon
We are so excited to finally celebrate our Terrace Bay Waterfront & Pavilion with a grand opening celebration! Join us for the official ceremony!
Food will be served courtesy of Parks Canada! Everyone is welcome to attend!
As part of the grand opening we will be closing out our 75th festivities with a burial of the 75th Time Capsule! Everyone is welcome to put a little piece of their history in the time capsule!
