Donations to Local Charities

On November 3rd, 2025, Mayor Malashewski and Councillor Adduono were pleased to present two cheques, one in the amount of $822.25 to the Furget-me-not Animal Shelter (Diana Montey), and one in the amount of $1000.00 to the North Shore Harvest Cupboard (Diane Dohanich and Louise Schumph), on behalf of the Thunder Bay Autosport Club, as their annual β€˜thank you’ for use of the Terrace Bay Airport property.

Additionally, the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard was presented with a $500.00 donation on behalf of Council to support their Christmas Hamper Campaign.

As of November 6, the Multi-Use Courts are now CLOSED for the season to help protect the surface through the winter months.

Please remember β€” the court has a special surface that requires gentle care, so:

🚫 No wheels

🚫 No rocks

🚫 No shovels

This helps keep the court in great condition for everyone to enjoy next year!

πŸ€ Winter Basketball at the High School on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 7-9pm

πŸ“ Indoor Pickleball – Tuesdays at 6-8pm at Michael King Hall throughout the winter.
