🛑 NEW STOP SIGNS INSTALLED
The Township of Terrace Bay would like to advise motorists that new Stop signs have now been installed at two intersections in the community:
🛑 Cartier Road at Lakeview Drive – westbound traffic on Cartier Road must now stop.
🛑 Hudson Drive at Radisson Avenue – southbound traffic on Hudson Drive must now stop.
These locations previously had Yield signs. The change from Yield to Stop signs was approved as part of the 2026 updates to the Township’s Uniform Traffic By-law following a review of the by-law and traffic safety.
Drivers who regularly travel through these intersections are encouraged to be mindful of the change and watch for the new signage.
Please help us spread the word so everyone has a chance to become familiar with the new traffic controls.

Diabetes Canada Clothing Donation Bin New Location
Our Diabetes Canada clothing donation bin has moved!
To make room for the installation of the new Curling Club sign at the Community Centre, the donation bin has been relocated to the Cultural Centre parking lot.
The bin isn’t gone! It just has a new home. Residents can continue to drop off eligible clothing and textile donations at the new location.
