Terrace Bay News & Notices

Please be advised that there will be an increase in water flow from the Hays Lake Dam starting the week of January 13 and will continue throughout the winter of 2025.

This is due to operating requirements and will result in higher than normal water flows on the Aguasabon River between Hays Lake Dam and Terrace Bay Marina.

The public is advised to exercise caution along this section of the river.

SEWING 101 Beginner Class with Instructor Karen McKinnon

Develop the essential skills needed to begin sewing and creating! During this five-hour class for beginners and those who need a refresher, you will learn how to clean and operate a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, choose a needle and thread and how to sew basic stitches.

This is a friendly reminder that in accordance with By-Law No. 95-18, The Uniform Traffic By-law, Section 22, Winter Overnight Parking, Subsection 22.1, no person shall park or stand a vehicle on a street or highway effective from 1:00 am  to 7:00 am, between November 15th and April 15th of each calendar year.  This By-law will be enforced
