Doggie Park on Ice

Get ready for some paws-itively fun times at the Terrace Bay Arena!

Join us on Saturday, March 22 & 29 from 2:30-3:30 PM for a Doggie Park on Ice event! Bring your furry friend for an afternoon of: Running on ice Fetching balls Meeting new doggy pals. Arena ice will be scraped and not flooded prior to event for the safety of the dogs and owners.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR OWNERS:

Ice cleats are required for your safety (no skates, allowed!)

Helmets CSA Approved are encouraged for all Arena Users!

TIPS FOR DOGGIE PARK:

Let your dog get adjusted to walking around on the ice for a few minutes. It may take a little bit for your dog to learn to balance and not fall. They will get their “ice legs” though and then be ready to play! Also, be sure to keep an eye on their paws as very, very cold weather can be painful for a dog. Your dog could also wear dog shoes if needed.

As you walk around, toss your dog their favorite ball and watch as they chase after it, sliding the whole way in excitement! Not only will your pup be playing their favorite game but they will also be working harder than ever to get the ball, a surefire way to tire them out.
