There will be no pickup of tires or demolition material or large quantities of concrete (i.e., sidewalks or old foundations). Tires, demolition material or concrete can be delivered to the landfill site by the property or business owner and regular rates will apply.
Residents are asked to place rubbish close to the roadside and in proper containers where necessary to permit easy access for loading by 7:00 a.m.
Public Works will not pick up derelict vehicles (i.e., old cars, trucks, or trailers). These items can be delivered to the landfill site by the residential owner and regular tipping fees will apply.
Freezers or refrigerators require certification that refrigerant has been removed before they will be accepted for pick up. Freezers or refrigerators not certified and drained can be brought to the landfill anytime for a fee of $100.
