RFP – Township of Terrace Bay – Generator Installation

The Township of Terrace Bay is accepting proposals for the installation of one (1) HSY-50 T6, 43KW diesel generator at the Terrace Bay Cultural Centre. The generator will be used to provide heat, lighting and cooking facilities in the event of an emergency.

It’s time to get festive! Join us for the Merry & Bright Community Tree Decorating event on Simcoe Plaza and help us spread some holiday cheer!

How It Works:

1.  Bring your own tree & base (real or artificial)

2.  Bring your own decorations—let your creativity shine!

3.  Lights are optional (sorry, no power available)

4.  Cleanup is your responsibility! All trees must be cleaned up by January 10.

Who Can Participate? Families, individuals, schools, organizations, businesses… even Grinches are welcome!

Through the Inclusive Community Grants Program, the Township of Terrace Bay will receive over $35k in funding to purchase accessible beach matting (ABM), and a beach-accessible mobility chair (BAMC), eliminating a physical barrier to access at the Terrace Bay (TB) Beach.
This project will increase outdoor accessibility for seniors and people with disabilities, allowing them to enjoy equitable access to public recreation.
Find out more about the recipients and their projects that will create more accessible environments for older adults and people with disabilities, allowing them to participate in all aspects of community life.
