The Township of Terrace Bay extends sincere recognition to Steve Friedrich, Jase Coughlin, Paula Sitko, and Dave Sitko for their heroic actions on October 31, 2025. Their bravery and selflessness reflect the very best of our community.
The Township’s Mayor and Council were honoured to present awards recognizing and thanking these residents for their courageous efforts. Terrace Bay is proud to acknowledge their outstanding example of care, compassion, and commitment to others.

On behalf of our family, we would like to thank the Township of Terrace Bay and Council for the commendation of heroism that we have received and to thank everyone for their congratulations and kind words. We are truly humbled.

For us as grandparents, our greatest reward is that our granddaughter is safe, healthy and home with her family.
