Internship Job Posting – Exploration of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in a Small, Rural, Northern Municipality
Township of Terrace Bay
This project will focus on strategically implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency in the Township of Terrace Bay. The outcomes would potentially be translatable to other small, rural, Northern Ontario municipalities. The project aims to identify, evaluate, and implement AI applications specifically suited to address the unique challenges faced by municipalities with limited resources spread across large geographic areas or remotely located from major cities. Drawing inspiration from initiatives already underway in larger municipalities, the purpose of the project will be to seek to develop a framework for AI adoption that accounts for the specific context and constraints of rural, Northern Ontario communities.
