The Township of Terrace Bay is looking for community-minded and motivated individuals to join the Community Development Committee.
This committee has been instrumental in moving projects like the Downtown Revitalization Project and The Waterfront Project forward.
The members of the Community Development Committee collaborate closely with the Community Development Manager and Council to provide a voice of community interest.
We are looking for innovative and energetic members who care deeply about their community and a desire to make positive changes.
This is a volunteer role with a commitment of one meeting per month. It offers exposure to the municipal governance process, project management experience and current trends in economic development and tourism.
If you feel you would be an asset to the Community Development Committee, please provide a short letter of interest to cdm@terracebay.ca or drop off your letter to the Township of Terrace Bay Municipal Office.
The CDC is a main driving force behind major local initiatives:
Downtown Revitalization Project (Simcoe Plaza)
Waterfront Development Project (Beach Pavilion and Boardwalk)
Events: Canada Day and the Lighthouse Festival
And more!
Your ideas and input not only make a real difference, they are the difference!
