Friends of Terrace Bay Parks – Adopt a Bench/
Chair/Picnic Table Program
In March 2021, the Township of Terrace Bay introduced the Friends of Terrace Bay Beach – Adopt A Bench/Chair/Picnic Table Program, aimed at enhancing the Terrace Bay Waterfront Boardwalk and Pavilion. This program invited individuals, families, and groups to adopt a bench, chair, or picnic table to honor a loved one’s memory, celebrate a special occasion, or simply support the waterfront area.
The benches, chairs, and picnic tables became valuable additions to the boardwalk and pavilion, offering resting and viewing spots for residents and visitors to relax and appreciate the scenic beauty of Terrace Bay Beach. This initiative helped enrich the community space while providing a meaningful way for people to create lasting tributes.
