Terrace Bay Facilities – Proof of Vaccination Required

Posted on September 14, 2021

As of September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities. This approach focuses on higher-risk indoor public settings where face coverings cannot always be worn.

The Following Township Facilities will be affected:

  • Fitness Room
  • Bowling Alley
  • Arena
  • Squash & Racquetball Courts
  • Curling Club
  • Michael King Hall
  • Senior Centre
  • All Meeting Rooms

Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will also be exempted from these requirements.

All individuals entering the facility for the above purposes will be required to check in at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office and show proof of vaccine with a photo ID.

This only applies to individuals entering for recreational and meeting purposes. All individuals conducting business or accessing services at the Municipal Office will continue to be permitted to do so.
