Looking for something fun to do with the family? The TFA Pop-Up Playground is bringing four days of exciting activities to the Terrace Bay Community Centre from June 29 to July 2, 2026.

Designed for children, youth, teens, and families, the Pop-Up Playground offers a variety of engaging sessions, including Ninja Warrior and Parkour classes, public drop-in play, surprise game sessions, immersive themed experiences, and an EarlyON play session for young children.

The Club francophone du lac Supérieur is organizing a Multicultural Day on June 27, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Terrace Bay Community Centre Activity Room.

We are currently looking for individuals, families, or groups interested in hosting a table to share their culture, traditions, and heritage with the community.

You could showcase:
Traditional food
Music and dance
Regalia, clothing, or cultural items
Languages and greetings
Crafts, photos, and decorations
Stories, traditions, and customs

Whether your display is big or small, we would love to celebrate the diversity of our community together!

Tables and chairs will be provided. Please let us know if you require electricity for your display.

To help support participation, the Club francophone du lac Supérieur will provide a small reimbursement to table hosts to help cover some costs associated with their display or presentation.

Contract 2024 – 6004

The Ministry of Transportation will be carrying out the rehabilitation of McKellar and Ripple Creek Culvert, 36 and 38 km West of Marathon.

The construction will start in May of 2026 and is expected to finish by November 2026. The General Contractor is Bot Construction Group and Contract Administration is being performed by Bridge Way Engineering INC.

The traveling public is advised to be vigilant and slowdown in construction zones, traffic lanes may be reduced, and traffic control will be in place.
