The Township of Terrace Bay is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of a new digital security camera system.
The project aims to replace the Township’s dated camera system at the Terrace Bay Community Centre, Terrace Bay Swimming Pool and Simcoe Plaza. The Township is seeking a complete, operational and expandable system that includes all required equipment, software, licensing, installation, configuration, training and support.

EOI: Artists and Makers
The Township of Terrace Bay is inviting local and regional artists, artisans, and makers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for retail display and sale of products within the Terrace Bay Tourist Information Centre for our upcoming 2026 season.
Products accepted through this process will be offered on a consignment basis only. Space within the Centre is limited. Submitting an EOI does not guarantee selection.
The purpose of this initiative is to support local creators while enhancing the visitor experience by offering unique, locally made products that reflect the character of Terrace Bay and the North Shore of Lake Superior.
We welcome submissions from artists and makers working in areas such as:
- Visual art (prints, cards, small framed works)
- Handmade crafts
- Woodworking
- Fibre arts
- Jewellery
- Locally authored books
- Cultural or heritage-based items

Asphalt Paving
The Township or Terrace Bay is requesting pricing for the following:
Asphalt preparation and paving at various locations throughout the Municipality. Currently we have a total of 640M3 that requires paving at five separate locations around town. There is the potential for additional paving based on unforeseen repairs throughout the Summer Months. Ideally, paving would take place in September but the Municipality is flexible on this. Each location will be saw cut and old asphalt removed. Contractor will be required to grade and pave.

Terrace Bay GHG Reduction Feasibility Study
The Township of Terrace Bay is seeking a GHG reduction feasibility study for four municipal buildings. This report will focus on identifying cost-effective and practical measures to reduce GHG emissions, assessing the potential environmental and economic benefits of implementing these measures, and creating a roadmap for the implementation of recommended strategies. This report will not only allow for Terrace Bay to enhance its long-term sustainability by reducing operating costs but will enhance infrastructure’s climate change resiliency and provide evidence-based reasoning for transitioning into a greener community. With the support of this report, Township Administrators will be able to apply for green-initiative capital funding to accelerate Terrace Bay’s progression into a more sustainable Township.
