Free Income Tax Clinic

FREE INCOME TAX CLINIC for residents! As part of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program and sponsored by CPA Ontario & Canada Revenue Agency, we will be hosting a Free income tax clinic at the Terrace Bay Community Centre on Saturday, March 23 & March 30 from 11am to 3pm. Remember to bring all your tax information slips and receipts with you! By appointment only! To book an appointment call the Recreation Office at 825-3315 ext.225. Sports Wall of Fame Nominations 2019

Do you know an Athlete, Team or Builder that should be on our Terrace Bay Sports Wall of Fame?  The 2019 nominations are now being accepted at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office until April 30, 2019.  Check out the Sports Wall of Fame page  to submit a nomination.

ATTENTION WATER OUTAGE UPDATE

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2019

AFFECTED BUSINESSES  OF SIMCOE PLAZA/RADISSON AVENUE

(starting at the Bell Building - through all buildings to the east to the end of the plaza)

Please note that the Municipality is undergoing repairs on a service connection line within the Water Distribution System.  Therefore, the distribution system in the above noted area has been isolated.  Repairs are ongoing and service will be restored as soon as possible.

Once water service has been restored, the affected business will be on a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.  Please note that all water used for human consumption be brought to a rolling boil for one minute.

The Municipality will carry out required testing of water and consultation with the Medical Officer of Health.  

Information regarding what to do during a "Boil Water Advisory" is available at the Municipal Office (825-3315) or the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (807-625-5900)  Please contact the Municipal Office for further information if required. We apologize for any inconvenience.  

Thunder Bay District Health Unit – Phone Survey

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is launching a phone survey this month. One of the key goals of the Rapid Risk Factor Surveillance System is to get a better sense of the health needs of people in small northwestern Ontario communities, such as Marathon, Terrace Bay or Greenstone, as compared to those in Thunder Bay.   Here is a link to the full article

Public Information Session – 2019 Budget Discussions

The Township of Terrace Bay is inviting all members of the community to join in our casual, open house discussions on the following dates:

Landfill Site will be Closed on December 25, 26 and January 1

All Tipping Fees will be waived on December 28, 29 & 31, 2018 during normal hours of operation for household garbage only
