Posted on January 15, 2021

The Township of Terrace Bay is keeping most outdoor recreational amenities open during the province-wide lockdown and stay at home order. We are reminding residents to continue to obey all public health measures as per the Province’s Stay at Home Order that is now in effect. Read the Order.

The outdoor rink (volunteer run), sliding hills, parks, and recreational trails will remain open at this time.

Reminder that the Outdoor Rink (volunteer run) will be open to the public but organized games or practices are not allowed.

Residents are reminded when using outdoor recreational amenities to continue to practice physical distancing and to wear a face covering if physical distancing is a challenge.

Under the provincial lockdown orders, outdoor gatherings are limited to fewer than five people.

All indoor recreation facilities, including the fitness room, remain CLOSED by provincial order until further notice. Recreation Members will have their memberships extended for the period of the closure.

The public is still advised to only leave home for essential purposes and continue to follow and obey all public health guidelines.
