NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A TEMPORARY USE REZONING APPLICATION

PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION: The subject lands are currently zoned “Industrial (IND) Zone”.  The proposed zoning by-law amendment will rezone the subject property to “Industrial Temporary Use 1 (IND-t-1) Zone” in order to permit the temporary use of five work camp trailers on the subject site for 3 years.

If you wish to be notified of Council’s decision on the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must file a written request with the Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk of the Township of Terrace Bay.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Terrace Bay before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make an oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Terrace Bay before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the application is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Township Office, 1 Selkirk Avenue, Terrace Bay.
